‘SAFE THE PIKE’
Petition Launched
GFCA
invites residents and others to sign the SAFE THE PIKE petition for a safer
Georgetown Pike.
The volume, speed, and safety of
Georgetown Pike traffic is a major concern of this community and something
needs to be done about it. Most
GFCA’s Transportation Committee is aiming for a
minimum of 3,000 signatures. Your participation will give GFCA a strong and
unified voice for a safe Georgetown Pike.

such issues as traffic lights, road signage, speed limits, and traffic
calming measures involving the roads in and around
Focus Areas:
Traffic Signal Warrant
Study – River Bend Road.
Traffic Study – Fire House “cut through”.
Georgetown Pike Traffic Calming Study Implementation, including Crosswalks
for GF
Route 7 Widening – including
3 Way Stop at Colvin Run.
